Your visit
Will I share my suite with anyone?
No. Each room is private, with its own sauna, cold plunge and changing area.
Can two people use a sauna together?
Yes. Every sauna fits two people. Each person is charged individually, or bring a friend for $30.
What should I wear?
We provide robes for the sauna, but wear whatever’s comfortable: swimsuit, shorts, sports bra and so on. Clothing is required in the cold plunge.
Do you provide towels and water?
Yes to towels: a cold towel after the sauna and a dry towel after the plunge. Water is available to buy, and we sell reusable sauna bottles. Plastic and glass bottles can’t go in the sauna.
Can I do IV therapy before or after the sauna?
Both work. After the sauna, wait 10–20 minutes so your body cools down and your heart rate settles before starting an IV.
Sauna & cold plunge
How hot is the sauna?
Our infrared saunas run between 150 and 170°F.
How long should a contrast session be?
We recommend 20–30 minutes in the sauna, then 2–5 minutes in the cold plunge.
How long is a sauna session?
Experts generally suggest starting with 15–30 minutes.
How often can I use the sauna?
Start with 1–2 sessions a week and work up to 3–4. Stay hydrated and listen to your body.
How is infrared different from other saunas?
Infrared heats your body directly instead of the air around you. You get deeper heat at a lower temperature.
Do I have to go all the way under in the plunge?
Sink until the water reaches your collarbones. That’s where the vagus nerve is.
How are the plunges kept clean?
Each tub has a built-in high-efficiency filter and UV sanitation that keep the water clean between guests.
Do I really keep burning calories after?
Yes. Your body works hard to rewarm itself (thermogenesis). Skip the sauna and hot showers for 30–60 minutes after the plunge to get the full effect.
Health & safety
Is infrared safe?
For most people, yes. Stay hydrated, and check with your doctor first if you have any medical conditions.
Can I use the sauna while pregnant?
Please talk with your healthcare provider first. Heat may affect fetal development.
Can I do contrast therapy with a health condition?
Check with your physician first. Don’t use the sauna if you’re pregnant, intoxicated, prone to bleeding, have a fever or heat insensitivity, or have a pacemaker. Some prescriptions can be affected by sauna use.
Booking & memberships
What’s your cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 12 hours ahead to avoid a $10 fee. Arriving more than 10 minutes late cancels your session at full cost. Staying more than 10 minutes past your time is $20.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes, after your first three months. Email info@theheatlabsauna.com at least 24 hours before your next bill date. Charges already processed aren’t refundable, but you keep access through that period.
